It’s fall, even though it still feels like summer here in southern California. Kind of annoying already. Anyway, I saw this great post on Mrs. Wood’s Kindergarten Blog and tried it out with my kinders. It was really fun. We used contact paper to set the leaves-way easier than glue! We read Leaf Man by Lois Elhert, which I am just noticing now I think I misspelled on this bulletin. Darn! The kids were totally into the book and wondering where Leaf Man went. All the kids enjoyed success with this project. We used sharpies to decorate the contact paper after we set the leaves. Then we used kid-code to write what we created. Here are a few examples close up.
